Research Interests:

I am a physical oceanographer and my main research interests include ocean circulation and its role in the climate system, dynamics of boundary currents and shelf circulation, physical-biological interactions, development of coupled Earth System Models, and multi-scale climate dynamics and numerical modeling. My goal for the Earth System Modeling Lab at Rutgers is to assemble an interdisciplinary team of scientists and students that makes use of numerical models to address a range of climate related problems. Of particular interest is the intersection of climate and marine ecosystems.
